Your adventure begins at City Harbor in Guntersville, Alabama! We normally depart from the dock behind Levi's on the Lake or on the end by Freedom Boat Club by the parking lot:

During busy weekends or special events, our pickup location may shift slightly due to harbor traffic. If that happens, don't worry—we'll let you know exactly where to meet your captain before your cruise.

For everyone's safety, Alabama law requires that all children under 8 years old wear a properly fitted life jacket while the boat is underway. We want every guest—big and small—to have a safe, fun, and unforgettable day on the water.

Whether you're looking for a quick cruise or an all-day adventure, we've got an option that's perfect for you!
Our trips range from a 30-minute sightseeing tour (or while you wait on your table at Big Mike's) all the way up to a full 8-hour day on the water. Sunset cruises, bat cave tours, dock hopping, celebrations, or simply relaxing with friends—it's your trip, your way.

Bring your favorites—we'll handle the fun!
You're welcome to bring all your favorite food, drinks, cups, plates, snacks, and picnic supplies to make your cruise your own. After all, every great party starts with your favorite people and your favorite treats!
We usually have a couple of coolers on board to keep your drinks cold, but if you'd rather bring your own cooler, that's perfectly fine too. Just let your captain know your plans before your trip so we can make sure there's plenty of room for everything.
We'll also provide trash bags to help keep things tidy. We love beautiful Lake Guntersville, so please help us keep our lake and waterways clean by placing all trash in the provided container while you're on board.

We know comfort matters, so we've added an emergency portable restroom right on the Party Boat. The privacy curtain also doubles as a convenient changing room if you need to slip into (or out of) your lake gear.
Need a little more room? Our friends at City Harbor and Levi's on the Lake have graciously allowed our guests to stop by for restroom breaks whenever needed. Best of all, the restrooms are just a short walk from the dock where your adventure begins.
Before we cast off, feel free to grab your favorite drink from Levi's on the Lake and bring it aboard—it's the perfect way to kick off your cruise! You'll also find plenty of delicious food, cold drinks, and great waterfront dining throughout City Harbor before or after your trip.

Parking? We've got plenty!
No need to stress about finding a spot! There is plenty of free parking in and around the City Harbor area, just a short walk from where your Lake City Adventures cruise begins.
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before your scheduled departure so you'll have plenty of time to park, gather your crew, and get ready to kick off your adventure.

Safety first... fun always!
Your safety is our top priority, so all required U.S. Coast Guard safety equipment is provided and ready to go before we leave the dock. That includes life jackets for every passenger on board.
Want to wear a life jacket during your cruise? Absolutely! They're available for anyone who prefers the extra peace of mind.

A little rain never stopped a good party!
Light rain, drizzle, a quick summer shower, or one of Alabama's famous pop-up storms usually won't stop the fun—it's still PARTY ON!
Your safety is always our top priority. If lightning or other unsafe weather conditions make it unsafe to be on the water, we'll work with you to reschedule your trip.
If you are visiting from out of town or worried you may not be able to come back on another day, Trip Protection is available at checkout and can help cover those unexpected weather-related changes.
If you've spent much time in Alabama, you know the forecast can change at the drop of a hat! (The old saying, if you don't like the weather give it 20 minutes) Protecting your trip is a smart way to book with confidence!

Cancel your trip 14 or more days before your scheduled cruise and you'll receive a full refund.
If it's less than 14 days before your trip, no worries! We'll be happy to help you reschedule for another available date. If you're unable to reschedule, your payment will be forfeited.

Tips are never expected, but always appreciated.
It's a slooooooooooow, relaxing ride… our party boat has a top cruising speed of around 5 knots (approx. 6 mph), depending on wind, current and the number of people on board.
Yes, pets are allowed but only on a private Charter. Contact us for more information.
The USCG regulation for our party boat is six people per boat plus crew. This includes children. We have one 6 person Party Boat, and one 6 person Tri-toon tiki boat. Contact us for options for over 6 people.
Come as you are—this is a party boat, not a fashion show!
There's no dress code aboard that boat! Wear whatever makes you comfortable and ready to have a great time.
Daytime cruises: Don't forget your hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. The Alabama sun loves to make an appearance! (Even when behind the clouds!)
Evening cruises: A light sweatshirt or jacket is always a good idea. It can get a little cooler once the sun goes down.
One more thing... We can't control the waves (or those other boaters! ), so you may get an occasional splash from boat wakes. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a little wet.
The most important thing to bring? Your friends, your favorite beverages, and a great attitude—we'll take care of the rest.
